AccentHealth Names John Curbishley EVP, Business and Product Development
Former NBCUniversal Business Development Executive Joins AccentHealth to Drive Further Growth
NEW YORK, NY( March 28, 2012) – AccentHealth, America's largest Health Education TV Waiting Room Network, with award-winning programming provided by CNN, announced today that John Curbishley has been appointed Executive Vice President, Business and Product Development for the Company.
In this newly created role, Curbishley will be driving growth in the AccentHealth business via strategic partnerships, new product lines, and acquisitions both within the point-of-care venue as well as in adjacent digital and mobile markets. He will be based in AccentHealth’s New York City office and report to CEO Dan Stone.

Curbishley joins AccentHealth from the iVillage division of NBCUniversal where he was SVP, Business Development. He and his team helped grow traffic and revenue at iVillage, one of the leading web properties for women, through a range of partnerships including content licensing, syndication, and advertising representation. Curbishley also led the NBC Digital Health Network, and built an international licensing business for iVillage with partnerships to launch sites in several major new markets.
Prior to joining iVillage, Curbishley was a consultant in the Media & Entertainment practice of Booz & Company. Previously, he worked in the corporate strategy group at the BBC in London. He holds an MA in Law from the University of Oxford, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
