M/C Partners Announces Newest Team Addition: Communications Infrastructure and Services Specialist, Travis Keller
M/C Partners, a leading private equity firm investing in Telecommunications and Information Technology infrastructure and services, today announced the hiring of Travis Keller, who has joined the firm as a Partner.
Travis joins M/C from Altman, Vilandrie & Co. (“AV&Co”) a technology, media and telecom focused strategy consulting and investment advisory firm where he served as a Director. While at AV&Co., Travis led hundreds of engagements with investors to develop investment theses, identify acquisition targets, perform investment due diligence, integrate acquisitions and improve portfolio companies’ performance. Recent diligence targets included commercial fiber operators, retail and wholesale colocation providers, managed cyber security companies and UCaaS platforms. In addition, Travis worked directly with management teams to develop long-term business strategies, improve go-to-market with a focus on product prioritization, and channel optimization.
“The addition of Travis strengthens our team as we look to deploy our recently closed Fund VIII. His experience and networks further expands our sector coverage and broadens our relationships with key industry decision makers,” said Jim Wade, Managing Partner at M/C Partners.
“Travis has highly relevant domain expertise and is someone with whom the M/C team has worked with for years evaluating numerous investment opportunities,” added Gillis Cashman, Managing Partner.
“I am very excited to join M/C Partners whose industry expertise, thesis driven approach to origination and company building expertise can add significant value in today’s competitive investment environment. M/C has a very strong investment team and longstanding reputation in the Telecom/IT marketplace,” added Travis.
