DAS42 Closes Funding to Accelerate Growth

DAS42, LLC (“DAS42” or the “Company”), a leading provider of full-stack data technology implementation and advisory services, announced today that it has completed a growth investment from M/C Partners (“M/C”). M/C is a private equity firm focused on businesses in the Communications and Technology Services sectors. The investment will enable DAS42 to rapidly build out its team, invest in its key technology partnerships, and continue to deliver market-leading service for customers.

Founded in 2015, DAS42 provides enterprise customers with a complete end-to-end solution to enable a modern data analytics platform. The Company’s highly skilled team works with customers to devise data-driven business strategies and implements analytics systems customized to meet business needs. DAS42 leverages best-in-class data collection tools, cloud-based data warehouses, and analytics platforms. The Company is a Snowflake Elite partner and a Looker Advanced partner.

Frank Selldorff is investing alongside M/C. He will become the Chairman of the board of directors and will leverage his extensive experience in professional services to advise DAS42. Selldorff is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully founded, scaled, and exited multiple application-focused consulting firms including Meteorix in the WorkDay ecosystem and Acorio in the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Clearsight Advisors acted as financial advisor and Harrington, Ocko & Monk, LLP served as legal counsel to the Company. Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP served as legal counsel for M/C Partners.

James F. Wade

Jim Wade co-founded M/C Partners in 1986 with Dave Croll. As a founding managing partner, he manages the firm’s investment process, and continuously seeks out management teams, company prospects and financial resources to grow the portfolio. A.B. previously served as a Board Observer for Ensono (acquired by KKR) and QOS Networks (acquired by Zayo). Prior to joining M/C Partners in 2015, A.B. worked at Altman Solon (formerly Altman Vilandrie), a technology, media & telecommunications focused strategy consulting firm, where he completed projects for both operating companies and private equity investors. A.B. received a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives in Boston’s South End and outside of work, enjoys skiing, cycling, traveling and cheering on his home-town Patriots and Celtics.
