CHICAGO, Illinois

Following the merger of Everywhere Wireless and SilverIP in September, the organization today announced they will rebrand under the new name, Zentro. The combined business represents the largest MDU (multi-dwelling unit)-focused ISP in the Midwest, serving more than 65,000 active residential and business subscribers throughout the Chicago and Milwaukee markets.

Built on the promise of “Enlightening Fast Internet,” the Zentro brand reinforces Everywhere Wireless and SilverIP’s shared commitment to improving customers’ perception of their internet experience by providing remarkably fast, reliable speeds combined with exceptionally responsive customer support.

Delivering documented 99.99 percent uptime, consistent 5-star customer reviews, and multiple industry awards for commitment to customer service, the companies’ combined client roster includes many of the region’s biggest companies and most iconic properties, including Amazon, McDonald’s, Cisco, NIKE, Google, REI, Planet Fitness, The Shedd Aquarium, and the Art Institute of Chicago, along with nearly all leading commercial and residential property developers, managers, and condo associations throughout the greater Chicago and Milwaukee areas.

“Over the past decade, Everywhere Wireless and SilverIP have established themselves as the gold standard in reliable internet service for multi-unit residential and business” said lead investor Ryan Carr of Boston-based M/C Partners. “Zentro is the perfect expression of the simple, bold and innovative nature of this organization.”

Uniting more than 100 telecommunications professionals, the newly combined business will look to bolster its significant market presence in Chicago and Milwaukee, while expanding its best-in-class internet service for apartments, condos, and commercial customers into other markets. Zentro’s shared leadership team brings together decision makers who boast a combined 92 years of industry excellence. Dave Dobbin serves as CEO of the combined organization.

“Zentro is the strategic alignment of the Midwest’s most highly consumer-rated internet service providers,” said Dobbin. “Our mission is to provide a refreshing alternative to the never-ending headaches and hassles of dealing with the usual suspects, empowering our customers with remarkably fast, exceptionally reliable internet service and uncommonly responsive customer support.”
